Jesce has also spent much of his time in the industry as an advocate co-founding The Minority Cannabis Business Association (MCBA) committed to creating equal access and empowerment for cannabis business owners, patients, and communities affected by the war on drugs. In 2019 Jesce and his wife founded NuLeaf Project, a historic initiative financially seeded in part with the City of Portland. Today NuLeaf is committed to providing financial, education and entrepreneurial assistance to minority cannabis business owners.
