We're kicking off the new year with one of the coolest episodes we've done on our show. We had the pleasure of sitting down to speak with Carlos Ramirez to hear his story and how he's working in the K9 world. We begin learning about Carlos' time playing sports, traveling and how he started going to school for training dogs. Let's just say, he certainly didn't have an easy road to becoming the trainer that he is today... it took time, patience and grit. Then we chat about genetics and the major role that it plays in both the gundog world and the protection world. It's interesting to think about the differences between two working breeds but it's astounding to think about the similarities and how much crossover there is in training. We go on to hear about Carlos' time working alongside Mike Ritland and his time at the Warrior Dog Foundation.
