E 40 | Betsy Brennan Has Grace Under Pressure

Join Rebecca Jones and Betsy Brennan, the president and CEO of Downtown San Diego Partnership, as they discuss the balancing act of chasing a successful career and managing joyful personal lives. Brennan, originally from upstate New York, reminisces on her childhood outdoors and how it instilled in her the importance of community. Describing herself in three words, Brennan is proud to have grace under pressure. Betsy Brennan’s goal is to try to hear everyone’s perspectives in order to make the best decisions possible. She tries her best to always be a convener and to keep the table stocked with a plethora of different voices. When asked to give advice to young girls looking to follow in her footsteps, Brennan encourages them to take that leap of faith, give people grace, and to trust your gut. She says, “You are strong.
