E 68 | Cheryl Morrow Is The Epitome of A Good Listener

Come with Rebecca Jones in this week’s episode as she is joined by CEO, entrepreneur, expert of textured hair and beauty care, and publisher, Cheryl Morrow. Morrow checks in with her aquarius characteristics and discusses the importance of either re-examining what has been done before and improving processes, or starting over from scratch. She elaborates, saying that our vision for the future relies on engaging with new ideas and people as they cross our paths. The women explore the realities of learning different types of competitiveness and all of the different lessons that team sports can teach our youth. When asked to describe herself with one word, Morrow chooses the word listener, saying that sometimes it’s important to listen to what is not being said just as much as what is being said. Morrow doesn’t choose to measure her success conventionally. Instead, she acknowledges that having true success includes not having the time to define it. Morrow finds balance through learning to be aligned with herself and through the art of delegation.
