Shanita Penny has been facing inequalities throughout her life from college internships to working in the cannabis industry. Today Shanita uses her experiences to advocate on behalf of minorities to bring the issues of inequality in the industry to the forefront. Previously, as the President of the Minority Cannabis Business Association, Shanita testified before Congress in support of allowing access to the Small Business Administration as well as shared her own personal story regarding a cannabis drug conviction.
