E.M.C. atmospheres #135 - Microtubuli (live modular) Hailing from North East Italy, Microtubuli is the noise/experimental project launched in 2023 by Daniele and Sasha. Lovers of experimental soundscapes of all kinds, Microtubuli pushes the limits of equipment and with what one can perceive as sound. There are two attracting poles that construct and deconstruct the sonic textures: the search for the lush and the will to destroy. Their performances always display this dichotomy and tension, both within the individual piece, and between different compositions. Together with their friend Rodrigo, Daniele and Sasha are also co-founder of Trilobyte records, a recently-born label dedicated to noise and experimental music. The compositions are typically the result of long recording sessions, that are either mangled and recombined, or just left untouched. This live session incarnates this approach, with electronic guitar sounds going through intricated sound chains generating loops, drones, and glitches in a pure form of experimentation. Enjoy!
