E-Talking: The Ransom Note Mix

Now then, what do we have here? E-Talking is a producer with whom you might not be familiar, at least not by name. You might well be more aware of him as one half of the French duo Nummer, a prominent pair who have released a great deal of impressive music on the likes of Butter Sessions, Going Good, Peur Bleue, Fragil Music and on their own imprint. They also boast a killer live show, one of which blew the roof off a Glasgow basement when 12th Isle hosted them many years back. The pair have also recently launched a new label focussing on releasing abstract electronics, experimental music and balearic abstract sounds from across the globe on an imprint called Natural Selections. Which brings us back to the focus of todays mix, E-Talking. One half of the outfit who has also independently released music on the likes of Whities, drawing for a slightly more hard hitting approach than perhaps anticipated.
