FC Barcelona is a team about which much has been reported in the way of extragavant spending, failure to pay wages on time and paying PR Companies to run smear campaigns on their players. Okay, so that last one is sorely a Bartomeu thing. No secret has been made of Barca's struggles financially since the Covid pandemic reared it's ugly head. Adding to the confusion has been the strict way in which La Liga FFP regulations have been enforced and the fact that Barca seem to be in the middle of transforming their team by signing a whole army of players, most of them for big money. SO how are they doing this? How can they be both broke and ballin?
