e014 Sophie Rist: Running a successful business by yourself while changing the way we look at sustainability

Listen to Sophie Rist, the founder of the sustainable lifestyle brand Agnes LDN. Before starting her own business, Sophie was working as a designer in the fashion industry. Over time she started feeling like her role didn't match up to her personal morals so she decided to tackle the issue and started Agnes LDN in 2018.  Sophie created her label with the aim to educate and inspire people to put the planet first in their everyday actions. Sophie’s personal journey to living a more sustainable lifestyle helped build the initial product range, using up fabrics she had left from her Fashion Design degree she created grocery bags to help reduce the need for plastic packaging when buying food. Since 2018, all products have been designed, tried and tested and manufactured by Sophie.
