E031 - Anne van Eijsden from Paper on the Rock

from Sustainability Solved

We are thrilled to be interviewing Anne Pleun van Eijsden from Paper on the Rocks. She started Paper on the Rocks in late 2015. After studying International Law, a bachelor in History and minor in Chinese she worked as an e-commerce marketeer. But from a young age she felt that she wanted to make a difference by becoming an entrepreneur who was 'doing good'. Then she encountered stonepaper. A beautiful alternative to traditional pulp paper. Almost overnight she started Paper on the Rocks - without a plan but with a very solid belief in the need for change. Now Paper on the Rocks is an internationally operating stationery business, we are a certified B Corporation and provide notebooks made from scaleable paper alternatives - such as our Rockbooks from stonepaper and our soon to launch Leafbooks from agricultural waste - to the B2B and B2C market.
