E037: Born Into Duality

While Reem was in Bulgaria, Toofless and Irshad were in Malaysia, OT got to kick it with Oddisee by the Dukkan while he was in Dubai for a Red Bull Music Academy gig. In this week's episode, OT spoke to Oddisee about unique upbringing as a half Sudanese half African American raised in Washington DC, the ups and downs with both sides of the family, how he stayed out of trouble, being politicized due to his backgrounds, and his responsibilities as a human and an artist to speak up, and the idiosyncrasies of being a 3rd culture kid. Pull up a seat and pass the time. From Dubai to the world. ---- DUKKAN LINKS: www.dukkanshow.com Facebook | Instagram | Twitter ---- The Hosts: OT: Instagram | Twitter Irshad: Instagram | Twitter Toofless: SoundCloud Reem: Instagram | TwitterSee omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
