Rachel's struggles with generalised anxiety and OCD began from a young age, but it was an unfortunate accident during gymnastics that triggered severe health anxiety after her surgery. The aftermath of the surgery brought about compulsive googling, constant body checking, seeking constant reassurance, and numerous doctor appointments. As if that wasn't enough, Rachel later developed Avoidant Restrictive Food Disorder while she was studying at university, leaving her in a very unwell state. Despite the challenges, Rachel's determination led her to finally receive the treatment she needed to start recovery.
