Dr. Sarah has been practicing dentistry for more than five years. She relocated from Baton Rouge back to the New Orleans area a year ago and purchased her own practice. Dr. Sarah grew up in Metairie; she graduated as valedictorian of her class at Cabrini High School. She earned a bachelor's degree from LSU in nutritional science, before attending dental school at LSU in New Orleans. We discuss her life's journey and some lessons learned along the way. She explains what it is like to go from a young person who would like to become a dentist to a student who is accepted to dental school and what dental school is like for each of its four years. We also discuss the importance of shadowing professionals in careers that a young person is considering pursuing, the benefits of eating healthy, and many other topics along the way.
