E10 Dr Valerie Giangrande - How Our Eyes are a Hormone Making Organ

Our guest is Dr. Valerie Giangrande. She is an optometrist, in private practice for over 20 years, in New York. In 2012, her son, at the age of 4, started to develop some health issues. Frustrated by the lack of help she was getting from conventional medicine, she started to become more and more holistic in her quest to help her son overcome these issues. In 2016, she became certified as an Integrative Holistic Nutrition Health Coach. Around 2018, after searching for answers to some of her own health issues, a functional medicine practitioner introduced her to Quantum Biology and the work of Dr. Jack Kruse. After realizing how crucial these foundational principles are to overall health, including eye health, she has incorporated these principles into her own life. And, she’s been educating patients in her practice ever since.
