Every person, because of their sin, is out of conformity with God's standard and is thus separated from God. Christ's death on the cross, however, opens the way for every person to have a relationship with God because it brings everyone who trusts in Christ into conformity with God's standard. Our response to God's offer of reconciliation should be to: believe, preach and rejoice.
