E104: Taper Robotics Team w/ Enzo Molinari & Alex Parker

As a continuation of our mini series about kids and local resources for families, we are highlighting a team of young engineers and coders who have recently made it to the WORLD  CHAMPIONSHIPS!  Meet the Taper Robotics team of 5th graders who have qualified to compete in the 2023 Vex Robotics World Championship in Dallas Texas; Irene, Simon, Sophia and today’s guests Enzo Molinari and Alex Parker. In this episode they share what it was like to be a part of Taper Elementary School’s first robotics team and compete on the local level, state level and now be invited to compete internationally. Also in the studio: Enzo’s parents, Ree and Jean-Philippe as well as Alex’s mom Marcia. As President of the Taper  PTO, Marcia has led the team’s fundraising efforts and also provides some additional context for this conversation.   The World Championship competition is on May 1st but there’s still time to support the team if you’re interested.
