After a technical-difficulties-inspired self-imposed break from the pod, Val is back with wild rantings and ravings that range from silly to deeply self-reflective and somber. Val dives right in, and after explaining her little break she discusses annoying background and theatre actors, seeing her old self on television, a bittersweet exchange with a former suitor who saw her old onstage antics and how she feels about potential partners being exposed to previous 'stages' of her identity, and concludes with some sober reflections on trans day of remembrance and the current unsettling global hostility towards trans people.
