DeFi or Decentralized finance is defined as an emerging financial technology based on secure distributed ledgers similar to those used by cryptocurrencies. Defi eliminates the fees that banks and other financial companies charge for using their services. With DeFi, you hold your money in a secure digital wallet instead of keeping it in a bank. On this episode, let’s talk some DeFi as it’s a growing global digital financial movement that has gotten the attention of the traditional financial institutions due to the fact that it offers bank-less and under banked communities around the world a chance to earn yield or return on the money. Today, I’m joined by Grant Nieddu who shares how DeFi and crypto play a role in his life as an entrepreneur, coach, investor and on his own financial freedom journey.
