E12: How To Find Your Life's Purpose

from The Vitruvian Podcast · host Zach Schenken

This week I sat down to discuss purpose. Why are you here? What gets you up out of bed every morning, day after day, year after year? It's a question I think very few people stop the momentum of busyness to ask themselves, but one I think everyone must try to answer for themselves. Finding that answer, or at least moving directionally closer to your purpose, will make life far more fulfilling, and hopefully also allow you to provide value to others and the world. I discuss the useful tool and concept of Ikigai (Japanese term for 'Reason for being') which helped me begin to explore myself and my purpose. I hope you find the discussion valuable, and if you take nothing else, you are reminded of how important it is to operate with a purpose. Big guest upcoming on the podcast (first 'blue-check' guest) whom I am very excited to sit down and speak with, so stay tuned! Thank you for the support thus far, and continued support as I move along. Enjoy this episode, and message me your thoughts!
