E125 Drift in the Darkness

Drift in the Darkness What Ezekiel Saw Behind the Wall What if the greatest threat to your faith isn't something visible, dramatic, or obvious? In this episode, we continue our series on spiritual drift by exploring one of the most sobering chapters in Scripture: Ezekiel 8. God takes the prophet on a journey behind the walls of the Temple, revealing hidden idols, secret compromises, and the quiet drift of hearts that had moved away from Him long before anyone could see it. Building on the warnings from Judas and Paul's message to the Corinthians, we discover a powerful truth: drift rarely begins with rebellion. It begins in the hidden places of the heart. Together we'll explore: • Why spiritual drift often starts in secret • The danger of losing awareness of God's presence • How small compromises become major strongholds • Modern-day idols that quietly compete for our affection • Five warning signs that drift may have entered your life • Why some people need healing, not rebuke • God's invitation to return to genuine intimacy with Him Ezekiel's vision reminds us that while God sees behind every wall, He also lovingly pursues us in those hidden places. This episode is an invitation to examine your heart, identify areas of drift, and rediscover the joy of walking closely with Jesus. Scripture Anchor: Ezekiel 8 Keywords: Spiritual Drift, Ezekiel, Idolatry, Heart Check, Intimacy with God, Hidden Sin, Christian Growth, Discipleship, Healing, Return to God Key Takeaway: The greatest danger is not falling away from Jesus suddenly. It's drifting away from Him slowly. The invitation today is simple: don't just ask if you're still following Jesus. Ask if you're still close to Him. 🔥 Join the Lion Roars from Zion Community Ready to go deeper?
