E136: Stephen Nast Recent Graduate from Liberty University School of Law

from Lawyers in the Making Podcast · host Nate Crespo

Stephen Nast is a Recent Graduate from Liberty University School of Law. Stephen’s journey began after hearing his pastor ask, 'What would you regret not doing?’ This moment would bring the law school to his attention and start his pursuit. Stephen and I started in his first year of Law School. With a family at home, he was ultra-motivated to succeed and navigate Law School with ease. He leaned into the curriculum and faculty to help him maneuver his way through Law School. While still challenging, Stephen was able to build an effective system for himself. Following this, Stephen talked about his two experiences outside of Law School, learning how to work with clients, and trying different sectors of the Law to see what sticks. His most important takeaway was to say yes to every opportunity, as you never know what lies on the other side of it. Finally, we spoke about Stephen’s participation in Rhetoric’s Moot Court Madness Competition, noting its uniqueness, and how legal tech can play an integral part in Law Schools across the country. We ended off with how faith and God played a crucial role throughout his life, and in Law School. Congratulations to Stephen for graduating from Law School and taking home a treasure trove of awards in his final semester. Stephen is certainly someone to look out for in the future!
