E16.1 - PART 1: Nadine Senat - When your body changes the plan; A raw account of living with MS

from The Flip Side · host Carla

In this episode, I have the pleasure of chatting with Nadine. A way she once described herself was a 'pocket rocket'. After this interview, I realised that although the diagnosis of MS has changed what that means physically for Nadine it has not changed that one bit about her spirit. She is always holding the perspective of what she CAN do which seems near impossible to us on the outside who would not stand a chance in the challenges of her situation. She has made the most of every opportunity to LIVE and to continue healing. Nadine is constantly making strides (quite literally) closer and closer to her next goals. From waking up and not being able to walk effectively overnight, spending 3 years finding it hard to get out of bed with flare-ups and learning to walk again and again, she is now working full-time and finding moments to do things she loves! I'm quite sure you will find this conversation as inspiring and moving as I did and also come away with some tools to manage your relationships with people who have chronic illness in your life far better. Enojy! Catch you on the Flip Side!
