E16 - How MetaMoms NFTs Are Bringing More Women Into Web3

from Future Signal · host Jarrett Carpenter

Identity and more specifically gender in web3 is fascinating to explore as NFT communities are sprouting up weekly around the globe and unlike web2 or traditional tech, not all the founders are majority males. In fact, web3 offers anyone the opportunity to be a part of a community, contribute, learn and add value like we’ve never really seen with web2. My guests today not only see the potential for web3 to create new lanes for women but are building what they believe and I feel will one day be a blue chip NFT project. As a women-led NFT project, MetaMoms NFTs is looking to empower more women into joining web3, crypto and NFT spaces. Ryan and Noel are my guests today and their thoughtful approach and community-first attitude to designing their NFT collection is setting them up for some big time web3 success. On a final note on the episode, Ryan and Noël shared with me off mic that they are going to cover gas fees which in the world of NFTs is truly paying it forward. They’re doing this to reduce barriers to entry to get more new people into the NFT space. And for that I applaud them. Find them on social media @metamomsnft and be sure to reach out to them and ask any question about their project and/or web3, crypto or NFTs.
