E172: The Last of Us Preview PLUS: The Girl With All the Gifts AND: Recommendations

mailto:[email protected] It's a new season and we are about to get HBO's highly anticipated The Last of Us adaptation. In anticipation I provide some background on the project and the reason I am so interested in it despite my general exhaustion with zombie stories.  But before that, I go recommendation crazy in reference to the new hit movie M3gan (which I have seen and mildly recommend) which made me want to recommend many other films (which I thought were better).  Finally, we also discuss the 2016 film, The Girl with All the Gifts, one of the better recent zombie films and how it's themes may intersect with what we may be seeing in this new HBO series.
