E18 - How Slowing Down Helped Me Find Gratitude Again

from Raising the Next Gen Podcast · host Sonia Dong

It was Thanksgiving this past weekend in Canada, and each time this holiday rolls around, I am reminded of how a painful accident turned into a lesson in gratitude, perspective and the need to slow down. In this short episode, I share what happened to me and how it changed it me for the better.  As I recall this time in my life, I'm reminded of the book The Gap and the Gain by Dan Sullivan and Dr. Benjamin Hardy, and how being grateful for how far we've come vs. dwelling on how we're falling short was transformational for me. Tune in and find a simple exercise you and your family can use to help each other slow down, reflect and take stock of your progress - big and small. --- Did you like this episode?
