Derrick Haynes (Class of 2023) has lived a "tale of two cities", having worked in both a bulge bracket bank and a sixth grade classroom. After growing up in Harlem and attending HBCU Morehouse College, he pursued a finance career before returning home to teach in his childhood neighborhood.
