TOTM Face to Face is a series of podcasts where two or more young men undergo the process of making masks, a workshop activity created by Ashanti Branch. This conversation between Darnell and Marcel is the first time that the two men have ever spoken. (1:05) Ashanti’s introduction. He shares how the back of his mask is motivated by the uncertainty of the future, and the need to be patient about what is yet to come. (10:22) Darnell and Marcel discuss how they relate to one another’s masks. Marcel consoles Darnell and gives advice about the current situation.
