My guest for this episode is Michael Cox, Emeritus Professor of International Relations at the LSE. We start with a discussion of John Maynard Keynes’ book entitled “The Economic Consequences of the Peace” (1919) which has a surprising resonance with current events. We also get Mick’s take on today’s political and governance crisis in the US, what he sees as the future of globalisation and whether the current conflict between the US and China is likely to get better or worse.
