Actress Nicole J. Butler, the star of the State Farm ' She Shed' commercial, was born in Chicago and moved to Los Angeles after college to pursue her dreams of acting.  It was countless small parts in TV shows such as 'The Big Bang Theory,' 'Mike and Molly,' 'NCIS' and many more — coupled with commercials for such national brands as Progressive Insurance, Gain laundry detergent, Pizza Hut, Walmart, and Target that moved her career from part-time to full time actress.
