Jesus says to the Father: "The glory which thou gavest me I have given them." Not a portion of it. Not a lesser version. The same glory. Given. So that we might be one. And so that the world might know.Doxa is not a word for brightness or praise, though it carries both. It is the manifested nature of God — the weight of His revealed character shining outward through a life that has been close enough to Him to carry it. And Jesus says that glory is yours. Given.
