E21: Learn to Write a Memoir: Don Helin

Hosted by Ray Loewe Novelist and Willow Valley resident Don Helin invites you to the Memoir Group, which meets on the fourth Wednesday of the month at 10:30 a.m. in the North Activity Room. According to Don, memoir writing begins with a "tipping point" in your life, something that happens after which your life is changed. We all have such events we might want to write about. The Memoir Group discusses ways to enhance your writing by using literary techniques writers use, such as simile and metaphor, which draw readers into your story.
