C muses about how for them, growth and self-discovery have tended to come from travel connections: the people you share a bunk bed with or end up next to on a bus in the middle of nowhere. Some connections are intense, others are fleeting, many are both of the above. All of them, when meaningful, will leave their mark in one way or another, inspiring change and - in C's case - stubbornly banging their head against a newly discovered wall or moments of appreciation of the beauty around them, the perfect imperfections of life and human connection.
