E23 | Mia Roseberry Founder of Wounded Warrior Homes is Unstoppable

In this encouraging episode, Rebecca Jones is joined by Mia Roseberry the Executive Director and Co-Founder of Wounded Warrior Homes. Roseberry explains how and why she started Wounded Warrior Homes and the impact the non profit has on the veteran community in San Diego. Roseberry created the non-profit with the intentions of supporting veterans with different programs and services in order to help them succeed while thanking them for their service. When asked to describe herself in one word, Roseberry chose “unstoppable”, which fits her perfectly. When difficult personal or work related issues come her way she adjusts and moves forward. She goes on to explain that asking for help is not a weakness and instead can be seen as a strength. Roseberry also explains how it is important to be surrounded by people you respect and trust in order to create an environment where ideas can be created and critiqued.
