from Unsolved Murders: True Crime Stories · host Spotify Studios

Three days before Christmas in 1799, a young woman named Gulielma Sands disappears the night she reveals she is to marry Levi Weeks. Her lifeless body is found in a Manhattan well on January 2nd not far from her boardinghouse on Greenwich Street, New York City. When Levi was arrested for the murder, chaos ensued.
