E27. Evaluating Hysterectomy for Non-neoplastic Indications: Reducing Unwarranted Variation (audio)

In this episode of Talking O&G: a RANZCOG Podcast, host Conj A/Prof Tania Day speaks with A/Prof Natasha Frawley about hysterectomy for non-neoplastic indications. They draw on the results of A/Prof Frawley’s retrospective audit cohort study evaluating adherence to the Clinical Care Standard for Heavy Menstrual Bleeding in regard to benign hysterectomy at her hospital.  Conj A/Prof Day and A/Prof Frawley explore aspects of the Clinical Care Standard, such as evaluating contributors to abnormal uterine bleeding, assessment for anaemia, access to quality pelvic ultrasound, and treatment options.
