Writing has always been her way of making sense of the world, of seeing the beauty in ordinary moments. She keeps that journal on a shelf behind her desk now to remind her to stay true to the person she’s always been.Lynne spent 15 years as a journalist in New York, Washington, D.C., and Detroit. She earned an MFA in Writing from Goddard College, and she has taught writing in universities and around the world for decades. In 2007, she pivoted from journalist to marketing entrepreneur when she created Your People LLC. Just before the pandemic, she pivoted once again, to return to her writing roots and focus on writing books and teaching writing.In the years since, Lynne has completed her first novel, WOMAN OF VALOR, which debuts September 26, 2023. This is Lynne’s ninth published book. She also founded SCOTIA ROAD BOOKS, an independent publishing imprint for women over 40 with strong voices that need to be heard.Lynne spends every morning writing, and devotes afternoons to teaching and working with clients.
