Josh Lindley is the co-founder and driving force along with his wife Jessica Blaine Smith behind the website Bartender Atlas. Launched in 2016, this website is a worldwide community of bartenders created for bartenders and cocktail lovers alike. On Bartender Atlas, you can check out the feature articles, cocktail recipes, Bar Hops and other content from leaders in the bartending industry. Josh originally started working in radio back in the early 2000’s. He was on air personality at Toronto radio station 102.1 The Edge for several years. He eventually left that job to tour with bands and help run a record label. After several years of cross country travel Josh made another career pivot in life. In 2006, Josh stated off as bar back at the Drake Hotel. Eventually, Josh moved on to bartending in 2007 and has been bartending since that time. He has worked at a couple of restaurants that gotten on the Best New restaurants in EnRoute and won several cocktail competitions. He has also worked as the Canadian Brand Ambassador for Hendrick's Gin. He was bar manager at Campagnolo and a hired gun at Bar Isabel. He has contributed to many magazines, tv shows and newspapers with his recipes and opinions. Currently pouring at Bitter Days and Le Phenix, he enjoys being an ambassador to Toronto and talking about horror movies, punk rock and basketball.
