E29: Michelle McCarthy & The Social-Emotional Side of Perseverance

A teacher for over 20 years, Michelle is currently a literacy coach in the Murrieta Valley Unified School District. She is passionate about building relationships with students to build perseverance and has helped found the nonprofit organization Project 99 to help raise awareness and prevent suicide across the nation. In this episode, Michelle shares powerful stories about the need to foster the social-emotional side of perseverance, and how doing so can literally save a life.
