E30: Oceanside

from Now We’re Here Podcast · host Eric L.

Oceanside is the place to be even with all its changes. Gentrification isn't always bad nor is it always good. I will definitely have to cover this topic again. If not gentrification, then just Oceanside. Good times. Also, military personnel are not assigned to a base, they are stationed, "back gate" is the back gate to Camp Pendleton, the Oceanside Pier is the longest wooden pier on the west coast (the original was built in 1888 down the street, the current location was built in 1893, it was built four more times after it was destroyed by storms, and the current pier has been there since 1987), and the bridges to the pier are being rebuilt!
