A life-long advocate for others, Kilmer created Teri as a model program that is dedicated to providing quality services, programs, and experiences to those with developmental disabilities as well as the community at large. Measuring her success through her relationships with other people, Kilmer gives us a glimpse of what her work truly means to her. For her, going to work is like going home. The new Teri venue, located in San Marcos, provides the community with fresh and healthy eating, music departments, agricultural departments, arts and crafts departments, among many opportunities. When asked to give a word of advice to younger girls, Kilmer encourages to always celebrate your strengths and follow your heart.
