E335 Work Is Not Your Family, Here's Why

So you've worked somewhere long enough to be told that you have now been indoctrinated into the work family. Congrats! 

I'll bet by now you have the warm and fuzzies and you might even invited one another over on the weekends to share a meal or two together. 

This is great, until it isn't. 

In today's episode, I am going to share with you how a 14-year work/family relationship that I had seemed like it was going to last a lifetime...Until it didn't. 

It's a beautiful thing to share so much interest with the people that we work with. After all, we spend more time together at work than we do with our own families. 

In today's episode, I am going to share with you why building a foundation for yourself is necessary for when the time comes, be it by your own doing or something outside of your control, that you find yourself suddenly exiting the family unit that you once thought was going to last forever.
