E34 - Linda and John

It's RECOVERY MONTH and I can't think of a better way to kick it off than having "2" amazing individuals as my guests on "The Empty Chair!!!!! Join me and my guests, Linda S. and John M, for a night of Recovery, Fun, Laughter, and HOPE!!!!! Linda is not a "first-time winner" per se, but she has proven with SOBRIETY, you can RISE to the TOP.  She believes that the key to staying sober is staying connected with other women in the program and believes that her strong faith and spirituality help her to remain sober one day at a time. Today, Linda is "5" years sober and has built back trusting relationships with her family; she is a wonderful Mom to her three adult children, she takes care of her mother and father, she is a sister, Auntie, cousin, friend, and girlfriend.  She believes being in recovery is a never-ending Gift from God. John relapsed after 16 years of sobriety and found the strength to return to the halls in 2015.  Since his return, his life is unrecognizable from the one he had before.  Along with recovery and working with others, John is the house manager at the Kelly House in Wakefield, MA. Due to recovery, John has changed his life tremendously and is able to be a "proud father" to his 3 children that he adores.
