E35: When Should a Business Start Working on Their Processes?

from De-stress Your Business · host Paddy Mann & Alexis Kingsbury

Most businesses wait too long before they really put a spotlight on sorting out their processes.   The result?   Failed hires Lots of mistakes Leaders spending all their time supporting their team And a ton of stress   So when is the right time to start working on your processes?   Really, it’s at the point where you realize that you have some processes that work, and that you need to hire employees to help the business grow.   At this point, your new employees will need clarity on what to do. If you’re asking them to take over sales calls, then work out the key steps that need to happen on every call. If you’re asking them to develop your website, then make it clear what they do to demonstrate that every update is of a high quality.   If you don’t do this, then expect them to make mistakes and drop balls. Expect to spend a lot of your time fixing these mistakes, and supporting the team. Expect failed hires, and a lot of stress.   In today’s episode of De-Stress Your Business, we go deeper on this subject — when is the right time to start working on your processes, and why?   ---   Want to learn more?
