E35: Who Wears the Blue Pants in Alabama?

Send us Fan MailBlue Pants Brewery owner Michael Spratley joins the Beer Guys this week. Over the past six years, Spratley and his wife have grown the operation from a 1.5 barrel setup to their current production line based in Madison, Alabama.  We talk to Spratley about the beers, his sour program and Blue Pants plans to start canning....and possible expansion of their distribution..... Truck and Tap's beers of the week are from Blue Pants, including their Oktoberfest (a much lighter version than what we usually see in the states), Weedy's Double IPA and two variations of their Pinstripe Stout - Candy Bar and Peanut Butter.  Tim's Whale of the week is Creature Comforts Athena Paradiso - their Berliner Weiss with Passion Fruit and Guava, one of Tim's all-time favorites.  Beer Guys Radio Craft Beer Podcast 035See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information. Thanks for listening to Beer Guys Radio!  Your hosts are Tim Dennis and Brian Hewitt with producer Nate "Mo' Mic Nate" Ellingson and occasional appearances from Becky Smalls.Subscribe to Beer Guys Radio on your favorite app: Apple Podcasts | Google Podcasts | Spotify | Stitcher  | RSSFollow Beer Guys Radio: Facebook | Instagram | Twitter | YouTube If you enjoy the show we'd appreciate your support on Patreon.  Patrons get cool perks like early, commercial-free episodes, swag, access to our exclusive Discord server, and more!
