In the wake of this tragedy, Katie turned to writing as a means to process her grief, launching her blog in 2016 and finding solace in the community that rallied around her. On the brink of becoming a published author, Katie faced a new challenge: a diagnosis of Stage IV metastatic breast cancer in March 2022. She discusses with us how this life-altering experience forced her to set aside her goals and fully commit to her healing journey, which included 15 months of rigorous treatments.   Key insights from this episode: The importance of connection and support in overcoming adversity.
