E40: Meet Gabby!

In this episode, we welcomed Sargent Clinical Assistant Professor Leanne Yinusa Nyahkoon and members of the Gabby team, Juliette Pluviose-Philip, Abby Williams, and Kylie Woodall. They introduced Gabby, a Virtual Assistant that helps African American women with prenatal care. As Gabby celebrates her tenth birthday, our speaker shared how Gabby takes social media and her next steps. About Gabby: Gabby emulates the face-to-face conversational behavior of an emphatic clinician, including nonverbal communicative behavior such as gaze, posture, and hand gestures to deliver patient education messages tailored to individual needs, assess patient comprehension, and record progress.
