E45: ATA Government Division, Government Linguist Outreach

Translators and interpreters working for the U.S. Government represent a large community of highly trained language professionals, many of whom know little about language careers outside of the government. A number of ATA members wanted to change that, and so they did! In Episode 45 of The ATA Podcast, Matt interviews Joe Mazza, the administrator of ATA's Government Division, and Rusty Shughart, chair of the Government Linguist Outreach Task Force (GLOTF), to learn why the ATA Government Division was established, the mission of GLOTF, and what both have accomplished so far.
