E5: Marriage, Divorce, Remarriage Part 1; The Old Testament, the Divorce Certificate

In this episode we begin a multi-part series on a very important topic, Marriage, Divorce, and Remarriage. Throughout religious history, there have been a multitude of opinions and interpretations about what the Bible says regarding the right to divorce and remarry, and as a result there is much division over this topic.  In part 1, Kevin and Lee begin at the beginning and discuss the role that the divorce certificate played in the ancient context, why it was encoded within God's law, and what it's particular functions were.  We are excited to discuss this topic, and are planning on ending this series with an episode dedicated to answering the questions of our listeners!
