This immersive program allows graduate nursing students to practice real-time family engagement, emotional attunement, trauma sensitivity, and attachment-based interviewing before entering real-world practice.Today, she’ll share how the simulation was designed, the pedagogical goals behind it, why emotionally focused family therapy matters in psychiatric training, and what students have learned through this experience.Kathryn de Bruin is an ICEEFT Certified EFT Trainer.
