E527 Respect for Marriage Act and Gender Dysphoria

The feds want to provide statutory authority for same-sex and interracial marriages.    The Respect for Marriage act sounds fantastic on the surface. I mean...why shouldn't be be allowed to love who we love and have marriage recognized on a federal level?    While it's not likely that the Respect for Marriage Act will pass, there's something much deeper here that nobody is talking about.    Gender dysphoria is when someone's biological sex doesn't match their gender identity. The truth is that this disorder (and make no mistake, it is a disorder) is incredibly rare.    "DSM-5 estimates that about 0.005% to 0.014% of people assigned male at birth and 0.002% to 0.003% of people assigned female at birth are diagnosable with gender dysphoria.
